With challenging times confronting Higher Education, many of us are having to think in new ways to balance budgets. Public higher education administrators are beginning to realize that we need to think entrepreneurially to generate additional dollars for our enterprises.
Anyone care to comment on ideas that work for you? Or, ideas you have that you will be exploring?
Also, more recently Wisconsin universities have been given more flexibility in funding. This essentially means less restrictions on funds, regulations, etc. Is anyone else experiencing this? Although we don't know what exactly our new flexibilities will mean yet, we're preparing to budget differently.
