Writing about students' experiences as employees in auxiliaries services tells us about what they are learning. You would not believe how much we learned in our Student Article Contest two years ago about the impact each of you are having on the lives and careers of your students!
The 2010 Contest is well underway, and I want to encourage everyone to talk to your students who may be interested in writing on the topic: "How Auxiliary Services Has Influenced My College Experience." Please find the details on the NACAS web site, and please encourage your students now! The winner will have their article published in College Services magazine.
The prize money is: $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, and $200 for 3rd. Sodexo has graciously provided sponsorship and this enables us to fund the cash prizes.
The deadline for submissions is December 1, 2010
