We are searching for a large Touchscreen Kiosk which will be placed at the interior entrance to our University Center. The purpose would be multi-pronged including campus and building maps, advertising for events, branding of the building, among other uses. Ideally, we would want something interactive. For example, students could text themselves the information they find at the kiosk rather than taking notes or printing anything out.
Does anyone have suggestions for the hardware and/or software for such a system? Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave - I have a few bits of info I can share, but it might be long for this format. In short, there are a few companies that custom make the actual kiosk but the actual software/user experience is much more important. We had one developed, which we have since retired, that used our digital signage software, Four Winds Interactive. The kiosk was great, the software was as well, but there were accessibility issues that we couldn't work through. The layout was challenging and, for folks who are differently abled physically or via talking, there were challenges.I would be happy to talk more if you want to get in touch. Drop me a line of give a ring.
