I'd like to chat with anyone who runs a student computer repair helpdesk at their institution. We have one specifically tasked with supporting students who are residents of our on-campus Housing and I'd love to compare notes and get some ideas about what other folks are doing.
As a broader question for the group, do you have some kind of student-focused computer helpdesk on campus that handles hardware repair or is it strictly a software desk (answering questions, setting up accounts, etc). Is this run through your central IT group or through a division of Auxiliaries?
