I would like to know what Bookstore application you use if you are a self-operation (not contracted), how long you have been using it, if you like it, if it is local or cloud based and if it integrates with an ERP, if so, which one?

We are accessing our current system/application and are currious what others are using.

    Thank you,

    Good Morning,

    RE: Bookstore system

URI Campus Store uses the MBS operational applications (Cloud no server at store)

Current active applications: POS,Sales Audit (including file transfer to Controller's office), A/P (including file transfer to Controller's office), Textbook (including rental), General Merchandise, Online store, Mobile POS,
and General Ledger (not fully implemented by store staff yet).

We also have VERBA Compete+Compare integrated with MBS textbook application.

Overall, system applications met the operational needs and dependable.

Regular system enhancements by MBS occur but in some cases come slower than we would like. We have asked MBS to improve the intuitive capabilities (AI) of the applications (especially course department). The system applications should be improved to be able to project (suggest) buying decisions for books or merchandise.

Overall, I would recommend the MBS system applications.

SJR State College uses Nebraska (recently Prism|rbs).
We've been on the system for about 3 years, it integrates with our ERP (Banner).  We have had numerous issues related to implementation / system set up issues that have required us to re-do portions of the system set up but when its operating correctly its an asset to the store.
