    Hello everyone,

I am looking to connect with other schools who provide space to Daycare operators on their campus.  I am reviewing our current operation and would like to see what other schools are doing.

    Thank you,

Coastal Carolina University has an Early Childhood Development and Literacy Center on our campus.  It is fairly new but our Director, Angela Huggins, can be reached at  You can also view their webpage at  Our center does not report through Auxiliary Enterprises as it is part of our Spadoni College of Education department.

    Have a great day!

    Hi Carla,

Langara runs a Daycare. Information can be found here Langara. Campus & Facilities: Child Development Centre (Daycare)

Langara. Campus & Facilities: Child Development Centre (Daycare)
The Langara Child Development Centre is a full-time inclusive day-care centre that serves 62 children ages 18 months to five years in three separate programs-one toddler and two 3-5 years programs. We are an inclusive centre with some spaces designated for children with special needs.

The facility is subsidized by the College as it is seen as a great recruitment and retention tool. Especially now that our centre was approved to be part of the BC Governments universal child care prototype site initiative. Parents now enjoy maximum $200 a month child care services.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

    Good afternoon,

Here at UCCS we have our daycare off campus (across the street from main campus).  UCCS Family Development Center.  The majority of our funding is from auxiliary (tuition) but we also have grants and scholarships.  We have two auxiliary departments on campus that budget and provide scholarship aid to our student parents who have their kids with us.  We have discounted tuition for student parents.  We also allow faculty, staff, and community families.  We partner up with the School of Education with their students.  The FDC has an involved parent/family advisory board to help out with the FDC on events.  This is an auxiliary department that is housed under Student Success.

Conscious Discipline is the philosophy they use at this center.

    Hope this helps.
