Does anyone offer an ID / One Card for online students? If so how do you distribute them?

The University of Florida requires every student, including online students, to have a student ID.
We have a process where students submit a photo online, which is checked by our staff for quality. We then schedule a video conference where we ask them a few questions and check a photo ID. After the card is paid, we produce it and send it to their home address via USPS.

At University of Arkansas online students can get ID Card but they have to do verification and submit the photo through ProctorU.

We mail the ID Card through USPS and charge shipping cost for $3 in addition to New ID Fee.

    Thanks.

Currently we are taking all photos on campus for our student IDs and we would like to offer the students an online option where they upload their photos and we have their IDs ready for them when they arrive on campus.  Can you share with me your process in using an online options.
What requirements (criteria) do you ask for when students upload a picture for their student IDs?  Which department within the college checks the photos?

    I appreciate any feedback.

At Fort Hays State University, online students may request a Tiger Card.  The application form is in our student portal, they must submit a photo on a white background for use on the card, they also pay their fee through this portal and submit proof of identity.  The proof of identity is reviewed by staff, then deleted and is not stored in any way.  This process was approved/created by our University's General Counsel and Tech Services.  We mail the cards through USPS to their permanent address.  We have built the cost of postage into fees.  We do have a few international online students, and we just absorb the cost of shipping those cards versus trying to calculate international postage.
