We are moving into Symphony in the next few months but found after much research that it's the most robust POS program out there. The fact that it's cloud based and 24/7 support and monitored makes it a better fit for us. It's adaptability to connections with TouchNet as our OneCard, the payment gateway for all methods of payment makes it even better. We are not only adding stationary POS, but handhelds for satellite events and line busting also is a bonus.
Nothing is perfect an Oracle certainly has its challenges on the help desk side, it still out weighs the others, comparability to other needs is important and as a leader in the industry everyone to the most part has the ability to work hand in hand with this product solution.
